Tourism event organization

STC collaborates with public and private partners to organize major tourism events, including World Tourism Day and other activities that enhance community engagement and promote Siem Reap’s tourism development.

World Tourism Day Cambodia 2023

World Tourism Day Cambodia 2023 was celebrated in Siem Reap from 26–30 September 2023 under the national theme “Green Tourism and Green Investment.”
STC also take part on co-organized as well and the celebration featured a series of activities, including:

One Village, One Product Exhibition at Riverside Park (north of the Royal Residence) from 26–30 September 2023
World Tourism Day Parade on 27 September 2023, starting at 5:30 PM

Local tourism businesses were invited to participate in the parade and offer special promotional discounts, with registration available via Telegram. Participants also joined the social media campaign by sharing tourism-related photos and videos with the hashtag #WorldTourismDaySiemReap.

World Tourism Day Cambodia 2024

STC proudly participated in World Tourism Day 2024, celebrated in Siem Reap under the theme “Tourism and Peace.”
As part of the event, STC led 200 trainees to join the parade on 27 September 2024, alongside over 1,100 representatives from tourism operators, businesses, private companies, and government sectors, with nearly 2,000 community participants taking part. The celebration highlighted Siem Reap’s strong unity and commitment toward peace, culture, and sustainable tourism.

ABOUT SIEM REAP TOURISM CLUB (STC)

The Siem Reap Tourism Club (STC) is a registered non-profit association in Cambodia that was established in 2019 with the aim of promoting, fostering, and elevating enterprises in tourism, manufacturing (handicraft/traditional handmade, ICT&Tech, agri-business, marketing and Ads/ Event organizing, training and development and other prioritized sectors. Our commitment to transparency ensures that our efforts are driven by the goal of creating a dynamic and sustainable economy, providing educational and training opportunities, project management, and business consultation for both local and international investors in Cambodia. We believe that by working together, we can create positive and lasting change in our country, helping enterprises in Cambodia reach their full potential.
